It's my day off and I've had a break from everything today and managed to get a day out too which is always a bonus. I woke up in a "no" mood this morning and went with it.

I handwrite quite a bit of my fic and it's usually the longer (over 1500 words) and chapter fic that get handwritten either as bullet point scenes or in full then typed, it all depends on what fandom I'm working with for a particular fic and with chapter fic having a reference is invaluable because losing track of everything could be embarrassing.

This month is getting out of hand fast and it's hardly even started! I'm trying to at least think about my fic, even if I can't write. If I can get a handle on some of my RL stuff, I might be able to actually take some time to write -- it would be a nice break from the usual!

I handwrite less now than I used to, but I'm going to start doing it again, as I think it helps me think better. I've gotten so that I am too easily distracted when I'm on my computer, but when I just have a pad of paper in front of me, I seem to think better.

Scatterbrained and feeling a little sick, but I'm still planning. Whatever gets written next, it'll be something I feel good about doing.

I don't handwrite actual 'fic very often, but it's my preferred method for prewriting and outlining.
