Date: Thursday, April 14th, 2016 13:07 (UTC)I'm basically a two-fandom writer. My favorite fandom is Tolkien/Lord of the Rings (mainly book, but films are also included from time to time), and almost my entire writing history has been with this fandom. My other fandom I actually write in is totally different -- the baseball manga/anime Major. I am working on one chaptered WIP for Major, that is actually almost done, but I have let it lapse. Now that it is baseball season again, I intend to do some canon review and finish that story up.
I have story folders for ideas from another anime or two, but I haven't ventured forth with actual fic for them yet.
Back on the horse again
Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2016 04:12 (UTC)RL has been complicated for at least the past five years - natural disasters, depression, depression meds and the dearth of creativity that accompanies them, house repairs, bills for house repairs - but everything is getting back to normal now; I told myself, "Normal means writing! Get to it!", picked a prompt table, and..... Writing happened! Yay!
And it was for my favourite fandom: FFVII. I am aiming to complete a 30-prompt table with this fandom over the next month, and i'm currently debating whether to post as I go. Prompt 1 is done. But looking through AO3, one of my other fandoms bunnied me:I saw a fic from WTNV, where Carlos is the native resident, not Cecil. Didn't read it because it immediately gave me ideas, and I want to work through them first.
I write in a number of fandoms, usually depending on my level of interest, but Final Fantasy VII is always the one I end up coming back to.
