Hello on Tuesday! What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Date: Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 14:50 (UTC)I write in two fandoms -- one is huge and one is very small. I feel like I have freedom in both; in the huge one, there is a lot out there for research purposes as well as the freedom to write just about anything, as the world is very well established. With the small one, it is somewhat restrictive in that I feel I have to work harder to get my facts right and do very well at writing, because the few number of works for that fandom makes whatever you post an instant classic! So I do feel the responsibility -- but it's also freeing because you know what you are writing is new (even if it will only be read by the few fans).

Date: Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 03:00 (UTC)As for fandom size, I don't think anyone besides me remembers some of the fandoms I write/ have tried to write in. Automan, anyone? The Monsters episode titled The Vampire Hunter? The made-for-tv-movie Crime Club: The Last Key? I have a blast writing for these, but usually peter out because no one else is really interested.
The one fandom that I'd like to write in is now out on DVD, but is MOD (made on demand), and expensive, at $60 + S/H etc. a disk, for me. Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. Every time I begin to get enough saved, something happens. Maybe it's an omen? :)
Have a great evening and a wonderful tomorrow!
