Yesterday, my writing was meh; today my writing was AMAZING!

Today has been okay so far. Finished a rough draft and sent off to my beta. I'll probably continue to work on it tonight.

Yesterday was okay--that was the beginning of the rough draft that I finished today.

So far the goal is on track, but we'll see come tomorrow. Wednesdays are posting days for the comm for which my challenge this month was to write four fics. If I can get the aforementioned fic back from the beta and revised to my satisfaction, then it will be posted tomorrow and I will be on track. *fingers crossed*

And thanks for the links, especially the one on writing sex scenes. I'll be reading that later for sure. :)

Wrote a very little bit for my queer_fest fic yesterday and today. In good or awful news, today another character told me she wanted to be Involved. She will complicate matters significantly.

Yesterday went pretty well. I wrote 1500 words for a friend and I think I did well by her. (Personally, I'm feeling a little more sceptical as how it turned out, but then again that's nothing new wrt to my writing recently.) It was definitely fun playing around with kinks that aren't my primary ones.

Today... well... the document is open. Does that count?

Don't beat yourself up. Sometimes the words just don't come. Go refresh the well with TV, a favorite movie, a favorite book, or some music.

I just wrote 2307 words in five hours! 1500 words in the framing!story, which I'd sidelined a bit in favor of the Issues stuff, and 800 words for a major scene in the flashback!story after I managed to solve a massive relationship problem for my characters with the application of a motorcycle. :D

(Also I may have pretty much just single-handedly saved a rec-a-day comm from extinction by getting mad about their plight and using my ossum riting skillz to post a signal-boost that's begun to go viral. I AM SUCH A ROCK STAR, YO! :D *fingers crossed*)

I didn't manage the word count I wanted, but I got a respectable 3,600 words written.

Well yesterday I didn't get any writing/story planning done because I was taking care of many things and I suddenly got a headache. >.<; Today didn't get any writing done but am able to get some research done by reading a couple fics similar to what I was going for, watched some episodes for canon check(again, same series I mentioned last time), and looking around the series wiki entries. Because of that, had written down a lot of ideas and made some progress with outlining two of my stories, including the second help_japan fic.

The Writing Sex Scenes I read and it's quite good. I'm so going to try out the techniques being mentioned. The Structure and Complexity one I haven't read yet, but I'll make time to read it tomorrow.

Today I convinced myself to trash over 800 words of fic that was. Not. Working. Which is very rare for me. I don't like deleting huge chunks and just starting over and I'll jump through all sorts of hoops to try and get it to work. Fortunately, I find that I don't have to do it very often. It really helped this time, though, and I wrote 1100 words to replace it!

Always hard to do, but as you sometimes it just needs to be done. But way to come back and replace them. :)
