Hello on Tuesday!  Sorry about missing yesterday, I had too much going on and forgot about posting here!

What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion - When writing from a prompt, do you prefer general prompts, or more specific ones?

I signed up for a challenge yesterday and received my prompt, so I've been thinking about that. I'm planning on doing some planning/plotting/research this morning before heading to work.

I think I prefer general prompts, because it gives free rein to ideas engendered by the prompt, but specific prompts are interesting, too -- like trying to make sure you incorporate certain word or you have to make your idea fit a specific situation with a specific character.
