WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Sorry to miss yesterday -- I had a guest staying with me and it threw me off my routine!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Friday Discussion - Are you able to manage keeping up with your writing when you have guests, are traveling, or are otherwise out of your routine?

It's a fresh month and I hope I will be able to have a fresh start at getting words on the page -- because the previous month was another one where no writing happened other than some plotting and research.

I cannot seem to write when I have guests, but I can sometimes manage some writing when traveling, because I am away from my routine. Sometimes being in a routine helps me to write better, but lately, my routine is one of being too busy, so disrupting it is actually beneficial!

A wee bit of writing today to meet a deadline, but I am happy to start a new month, especially after zoning out on the past few days here. ^_^;

Having guests or being on the road makes writing impossible for me. Anything that messes with my me-sphere (i.e. home) makes me have to focus on adapting to the new situation, and that means no writing.
