Discussion: hot weather. Can you still write when it is really hot? Do you have to be somewhere cooler to concerntrate?

I've been trying to write and edit for a couple of days now but the current heatwave is killing my ability to focus for longer than a few seconds on any task. My flat is small so I don't really have anywhere cooler to work when it gets too hot.

I've had too much going on to write properly lately, but I did get a couple of things done not long ago, and posted them. I'm heading into some time off shortly, looking forward to getting back on the writing track!

I think I have more trouble writing when it's too cold than when it's too hot. If I can get a fan blowing on me, I do okay during heat waves.
