WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 29 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Sorry for missing yesterday, I could not get to a computer with an internet connection!  That has been remedied, so here I am.  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Friday Discussion - The weekend is coming up, and along with it, the end of the month.  What are you working on currently that will help you finish the writing month well?

I'm at a conference this week, so I've had little time to myself and writing has not happened. However, I am hoping to finish up a couple of things this weekend and post them before the month finishes. I've done better this month than I have for some time with getting words written and stories posted, but it's still not that much in the grand scheme of things!

I haven't written in the last couple of days due to being busier than usual irl and discovering Fanlore again (so editing that whenever I have time to sit at the computer), but i'm still thinking some plot details for this fic over so I don't feel like I'm not doing anything at all. Overall I'm doing better than usual, and that's what I care more about. I've found setting too high standards just makes it so I don't do anything at all.

Yeah, I'm taking a break. Maybe write this weekend. It's been a real bugger of a work week, and I need some rest.
