WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 31 -- Sunday

Greetings on Sunday, the first day of the final week of our July WIP challenge.  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did some planning and/or research

•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion - It's the last day of July, and we'll be finishing up our July challenge this week.  Did you have any particular goal you were trying to hit this month?  How did you do?

Traveling today, so no writing, but this coming week is promising for lots of free time, so I hope to finish July/start August with lots of writing. I did well at reaching my goals, since I kept them purposefully small -- though my word count was low, I did complete and post two fics, and I wrote a work-related newsletter that required some inspiration!

I've got writing planned for today, hopefully without any interruptions this time, but I'm going to take some serious reading time first to try and straighten out my brain. July hasn't been a good month for concentration.

I finished a fic that had been in my WIP folder from 2010! And got it posted.
