Hello on Monday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Monday Discussion - Are any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

Hoping to have writing time this afternoon -- we shall see! As for personal experience, situations that my characters find themselves in are sometimes written from my personal experience. I've never written a whole story based on personal experience.

More planning. Been spending a lot of time rooting through prompts to find ones I like.

Personal experience is helpful to me when I write, especially when I need to write something raw and emotional. Sometimes, just remembering a feeling in one moment is good enough, not necessarily the whole experience.
