WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday!  Sorry to miss yesterday, not sure where the day went!  Anyway, what kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Thursday Discussion - How do you come up with titles for your fic?  Do you assign a title before writing or after?

I'm wavering this morning between doing some work for my job that I have been procrastinating on and which really does need doing -- or spending some time writing. Guess I'll try the writing first, just to see if I get anywhere! ;-)

I generally make a title before I start writing, some kind of descriptive phrase that identifies the story. I place it in brackets because I might not keep it. Sometimes it ends up work as it is after the fic is done, other times I end up using a phrase straight out of the story that nicely summarizes the main point.
