Welcome to Monday, writers. Now, I don't think this is anybody's favorite day of the week, and it certainly isn't mine, but it's still a time to get things done, so ... how's the writing going?

What's most likely to distract you when you're in the middle of hashing out the latest scene, chapter, etc.?

I updated my DW/LJ after two months away (literally, I was travelling to avoid my sis), does that count? /o\ I need to write up a couple for-profit blog posts this week. I've been working on organizing stuff. I just got home on Thursday.

I am thinking about writing, in that I packed up all my hard copy notebooks because I am moving. My computer is still out so I could possibly doodle a bit, but my mind isn't in it atm. My hubby also had a severe health crisis last week that threw everything for a loop, but that has settled down nicely, praise God! I should be moved by Saturday, and may just do some writing then so I can have an excuse to sit down!

I am distracted by talking or the tv, which is why I listen to instrumental music if I am serious about getting some writing done.

Wrote a few hundred words today, which is about as good as it gets. Slow and steady. My concentration is just terrible generally. I don't even need anything to blame.
