Took my sleepy pills but still determined to get a few more words out before they actually kick in, so probably a few hundred words for the day. I either write to silence or a pop album that is pleasant but not intense/complex enough to be distracting. No offense to the artists in question.

No writing so far this week -- maybe this weekend??? I like either silence or music that is instrumental with no singing or words involved. The minute there are words to the music, I'm distracted. I actually seem to have better writing production when I play music, even if it's the same piece playing over and over on a loop. I actually set up a small writing play list and that seems to help me when I am serious about writing.
