WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 14 -- Monday

Hello on Monday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Discussion - Do you have any WIPs that you have you have been working on for more than a couple of years?

Not sure I'll get writing done today, as I'll be traveling -- but we'll see!

Most of my longer WIPs are ones that I have been working on for a number of years. The longest is going on 15 years, believe it or not! I'm actually still working on it and posting chapters to it (a bit more regularly than previously, thankfully!), and it still has faithful readers -- bless them! I have two others that are have been in the works for years because they are stalled -- I am stuck in one and can't get past a certain scene, and the other is almost finished, just can't seem to figure out how to end it! I haven't given up on them, though. Someday I'll apply myself to moving forward. ;-)

No writing today, a little read through of an unposted chapter although I didn't make any notes on it. I haven't the brains just now with leaving my job and doing a lot applications that are taking all my energy.

I have one and I started writing/posting it in 2014 but the idea for it has been around since 2010 when the canon events that I started with gave me too much "what if..." thinky. I have the next two chapters written and they're still getting edited. The fic recently got a kudos on it so I'm using that a little extra external motivation to keep going.

I wrote, meaning the end of that kink meme fill I was doing. Was hoping to write more, but I am still deciding what my next project should be. Got plenty of choices on the table.

Hmm. There are WIPs, and there are projects that will most likely remain forever unfinished, usually because I am not quite the same writer I was when I started them. Will I pick some of those back up? ... I tell myself that I will, but that has not happened yet.

Discussion: I have several ideas that have stayed with me for several years. Some of them will probably be shelved forever, but I finally started on some others.
