WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 4 -- Sunday

Greetings! It's been December for a couple of days now, but today is the first day of the first week of the December WIP Challenge.  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Sunday Discussion - What are you working on this month?  Do you have any special writing projects or is it your usual WIPs and challenges?

I am thinking about fic, but thinking isn't currently getting me anywhere! However, I have plans for the day that will hopefully end in an increased word count. My writing projects for the month are a family newsletter and my assigned fic for a Yule Fic exchange, which is due by the end of the month.

Yesterday was an awesome writing day. I wrote an epic number of words (for me), and past 20k on my current WIP.

This month is consumed by my current WIP since I think it will end up in the 50k range. I started it around Thanksgiving, and its been a constant for the last week and a half. I also have to write a ficlet for LJ's space_wrapped based on a prompt. It's due Christmas Day, so I'm not worrying about it yet.

New month, time to head back up the ramp, but it's back to planning for a bit. Being sick last week threw me off my momentum. Don't think I have any major due dates for this month, but I've got a lot of clean-up I want to do.

Been stalled a couple days due to spoon shortage, but managed a key scene today.
