WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 9 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Thursday went missing somehow -- I think the day started too early and went too late, and I forgot about posting a check-in!  Anyway, we're back on track today.

What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

I've not been writing this week -- that will have to change soon, however, if I want to stay on top of my goals for the month.

I used to send my work to a beta before posting, but now I just beta it myself. I edit multiple times as I write, and then do a final one before posting. I'm usually happy with it by then, and the only time I go back to correct things is if I discover a typo.

Wrote a bit. Yeah, I hate the editing process but at least if a beta read it I can consider that having made a real effort.
