Hello! I'm not signed up for check-ins this week, but I thought I'd post one in case anyone besides me needed moral support.

Are you working on fic for the Yuletide collection, or anything else with a Christmas weekend deadline? Are you relaxed and almost finished, or cutting it way too close, or all done with stressing out about due dates until 2017?

Cutting it way too close WHY DID I THINK I COULD DO THIS

I took the day off, essentially, enjoying the fact that I'm on vacation -- and I actually totally did not think about writing at all today, which is a bad idea. I am supposed to be working on a fic for a Yule Exchange, and while I'm not stressed about it just yet, I better not put it off too much longer. I still have a week before it would be considered cutting it too close (it's due New Years Eve), and I do have a very clear idea of what I want to write -- but I better start getting some words written soon, or I'm toast!

Having a clear idea of what to write is the first and hardest battle! One I often fail, hee. We can do this! I woke up with fresh confidence in all of us. :)

OH!! I think I am signed up, but totally forgot since I have been so busy at work. Now I feel like a goober. Sigh.

No, I'm glad you phrased it the way you did, because that made me pay attention to your post and remember! And at least this way, I can do the last 2 days. So win-win. :-)
