Check-In – Day 31

Apologies, folks. Work yesterday was starting to look a lot like a battle from a Lord of the Rings movie, so I was ... a bit preoccupied. *coughs* But today is different, for this is the weekend! And not only that, but today is the last day of the year. How is the writing going today?

— Thinking. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.
— Writing.
— Planning and / or researching.
— Editing.
— Sending things to the beta.
— Posting!
— Relaxing, taking a break, etc.
— Other stuff-ing. Look at the comment.

And here's what is most likely the most predictable question of the year: How do you feel about the writing you've done in 2016? Are you going to take a different approach in 2017?

I wrote a significant amount on Thursday, then edited and re-edited on Friday before posting. I am all caught up on my challenges for the year, though I still have WIPs out there that need some attention.

I feel I could have done better with the amount of writing I did, but I am pleased that I picked up a stalled WIP and got it moving again. I am really going to work at writing daily -- a goal I have a had in the past, but never implemented. I am hopeful that 2017 is the year I do better at this.
