WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Sunday

Greetings and Happy New Year! It's January and the beginning of a brand new year as well as a brand new month for our WIP Challenge.

What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion - Today is the first day of the new year.  Have you made any resolutions/goals/expressed any intentions about your writing?  Any plans you hope to implement that will make your writing better or more effective?

I'm taking a break from specific writing, as I am all caught up on my challenge prompts, but I plan to write today in any case, even if it's just a bit.

My goals/intentions for the year are to be more consistent in taking time to write every day and to work towards finishing up my multi-chapter WIPs that have been too long neglected. I actually have set the goal of finishing at least two of them. I have made similar goals in the past, of course, but there's always something about a new year makes me feel more motivated to finally make it happen! And I think it will definitely happen this time!

I wrote both Saturday and Sunday, but Saturday was more accomplished. Sunday's writing just kind of floundered.

I have no writing goals, besides just do it. :-D

Sunday decided to be the day of planning. Picked up bingo cards, organized directories, left prompts to fill at the Porn Tree, etc. A good day! But too many ideas for writing, at least at that point. *deep breath* Today (Monday) will be the day for writing.
