Hello on Tuesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Tuesday Discussion:  Success -- how do you define a successful day of writing?

A successful day of writing for me consists of doing something that moves my story along. It may be limited to simply thinking about it or jotting down a note, but if I manage even just that much during the course of a busy week, I feel good. A SUPER successful day, however, is one where I actually put words together and write something that produces an actual word count. ;-)

I haven't done any of this yet this week, alas!

When I work on something longer, I set myself a minimum daily word count, so a successful writing day is a day I meet that word count. Today was a very successful day.
