Discussion: new month. As it's the first of the month what are you plannign to work on? any deadlines looming? any potential distractions?

Just now I'm finishing off my pinch hit for ssrconfidential and that's due Monday with having an extension. I'm also going to work on my pinch hit for not_primetime and make a decent dent into my het_bigbang fic as well.

Only the deadline already mentioned. Mostly work when I go back on the 14th, at the moment my health with been signed off for two weeks of sick leave to recover from an injury, quite possibly finalising everything for my family visiting next month (that's highly stressful for me).

Signed up for slowburnbigbang. I drafted my idea down :) I'm planning to work on it along with my otehr two fics.

I did not meet any my goals for May, unfortunately. Chronic illness proved to be too strong to overcome, this time, though I am improving, and I have high hopes for June. And today has been a prewriting / ideas day. Tomorrow, unfortunately, is going to be swallowed up by a double shift at my job. -_- I might be able to make progress in the morning, but I need to prioritize rest in order to get through the bulk of the day.

I am currently signed up for three different Big Bang challenges (including slowburnbigbang) because I am apparently a masochist, but I feel like my core ideas will be more than sufficient to meet the requirements of the challenges if I can stay on task. ... That will be difficult, but the results will be worth it if I can pull it off. For the first Big Bang in my queue, I am turning to nanodownunder to help keep me on target.

Didn't write a lot in May, but I now have a Bing Bang to focus on all summer.

I have the day off today, followed by the weekend, so I have plenty of time to write if I make it a priority. I have two challenge fics to work on -- one was due last month (but I have an extension) and the other deadline is coming up midmonth. Any work I can do on dormant WIPs would also be a Good Thing. Potential distractions include a very busy month of planning for a special event at work coming up in July -- writing fic will be a nice break from all that, if I can keep my brain from getting too tired!
