Writing session in an hour!

I'll be hosting a writing session in a little over an hour in the chatroom WriteThisFanficSessions. More info on sessions is here, & if you need help you can comment here or ping me at paperwarfic on IM (though I probably won't be around much before the session).

Okay, I have aim downloaded, but I can't figure out how to find the chat session...help!

Have you tried the instructions in the AIM section in this post? (I use Adium so it will be slightly different -- hopefully that will help though???)

I did, but it looks like that requires you to use the aim/aol as your browser which i don't want.

Is there any way to send a link/invite to the session?

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean about having to use AOL as your browser. It should open a separate window in the AIM program itself -- or have you tried using the web IM (on aim.com)?

Or alternatively if you sign up for Meebo, which is browser-based, you can log in to AIM there (there are instructions for Meebo in that post too).

^^;;; I'm sorry I can't be more help! I pretty much only use AIM for these sessions so I'm not the greatest w/it...

(& AFAIK there's no way to link to it--the 'link' is the room name. Although if you want to tell me your AIM name I could try & invite you?)
