The real question of the day is what happened to Day 1. The answer: It got devoured by my search for a new tablet. -_- But I now have that, so the show may continue. What have you been doing?
— Thinking. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.
— Writing.
— Planning and / or researching.

— Relaxing, taking a break, etc.
— Other stuff-ing. Look at the comment.
Today, being Saturday, is traditionally the day for posting snippets and the like.

Date: Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 02:10 (UTC)"I have raved about Bob’s delicious burgers ever since that fateful day my car broke down in front of his shop. Talk about destiny! You all know the story, but for those of you who don’t, I had gotten off the wrong highway exit and wound up in a strange town. Most of the streets were one way, and I’d taken a left on Ocean Avenue, hoping I would find a gas station in time. No dice. My car stopped and would not start. I thought my day was ruined.
Then heaven happened to my taste buds!

You can imagine my shock and heartbreak when I rolled into town for a burger reunion, only to find some establishment called Geez Louise in its place. I thought to myself, oh no! My good friend Bob has lost his business. What is this horrible world coming to??? I was going to turn around and give up all hope, but something deep inside told me to give it a chance.
Boy was I right!
The new business owner was none other than the youngest daughter of Bob, Louise Belcher! Of course! Geez Louise, it makes so much sense! The local newspaper Wonders of the Wharf describes Ms. Belcher as “a shrewd business woman.” Indeed the place felt busier than I remember, and when handed a menu I noticed more, shall we say, lesser proteins on the menu. But that’s OK! Bob was still head chef at the restaurant and that’s all that mattered. I could tell, because the minute I bit into that succulent, juicy burger I had tears rolling down my face. Literal tears!
A Bob’s Burgers of any other name tastes just as great! Still 5 out of 5 on the Moo Scale! Best of luck to Louise and her shrewd business sense.

“Louise, why did you send Todd that picture of me on the toilet?” said Bob.
“It’s the only picture of you I have,” said Louise.
