Discussion: editing. How much editing do you do before you post?

Editing varies for me. An exchange fic will usually have two lots of beta notes before posting, something that I'm doing on my own usually gets a basic SPaG check as well as c/p into Grammarly to pick up any sneaky confusables (example: its/it's) that I missed.

I posted my pinch hit for genex and I might be able to get something else posted today but I need to see what's close to finished before deciding.

I'm not doing any writing yet. I got other things done yesterday, but not writing! Maybe today...

I edit a lot. I actually tend to edit as I go, and every time I set the piece aside and then come back to it, I edit a bit again as I read through to see where I'm at. Once it's finished, I will do one big edit before posting. I don't use a beta reader any more, so it's all on me to get it right before posting!
