Discussion: challenge deadlines. Are good at meeting deadlines? Do ask for extensions? Do you ever drop out of challenges?

Yesterday and today is pretty much one challenge fic posted, one challenge to start work on and two prompt fills to finalise before posting.

I'm mostly good at deadlines for exchanges and time limited prompt challenges, but I do sometimes need a little longer and ask for extensions. I've mostly dropped out of big bangs and would like to stop doing that because I've only ever completed on big bang in all of my years in fandom.

I'm pretty good at meeting deadlines due to being stubborn af. It's stressful though. I'm stressed right now!

I almost wrote today, but got distracted by other things I needed to do, and then got to do a little beta-ing instead. Still good exercise.

I wrote, but it wasn't anything fun -- it was for work. Guess it counts as using my writing skills, even if it wasn't fic!

I am less good at meeting deadlines now than I used to be. I like having them, because it helps me focus, but I will ask for an extension if I need one. There have a been one or two times when I just couldn't come up with anything decent for a challenge prompt I was assigned, so I have dropped those - but for the most part, I complete my challenges (eventually).
