Discussion: real life. When real life is hectic do you still write? does it go on the back burner until things calm down?

Usually writing is the first thing to drop off when RL gets too hectic, unfortunately. It is mostly a matter of focus- I can't even think imaginatively when RL worries or anxieties are pressing down on me.

I've been trying to do something writing related every day, and I've been fairly successful so far -- but RL is what will throw me off for sure. I tend to just give up writing when things are hectic, or when (like today) I'm sick.

Planning further writing in a continuity I have been crafting, but real life is perpetually my nemesis, especially as of late.
