Hello on Wednesday! What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Wednesday Discussion - Do you include warnings for your fic? What do you like to be warned about before you read?

Date: Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 15:55 (UTC)I don't usually include warnings, as my fics are pretty much General Audience -- but I have warned of gory medical details and character death in the past. I don't require warnings before I read, though they are nice when provided. Most people are good about warning about the things I like to know about ahead of time, anyway, and the ratings assigned usually give me a heads up so I know what to expect when I read.

Any tags I add beyond that are often more spoilery than I'd like, but that's how it works there, and I admit I haven't turned off the additional tags display. As a reader, I'd say I usually prefer knowing what kind of mood the author's going for rather than any specific story details, but that's not always possible :)
