Today's question: How do you feel about getting your fic remixed or sequeled? Have you ever remixed or sequeled someone else's fic?

I looooooooove all things remixy. I seldom qualify for remix challenges, but the two remixes I've been involved with... one of them I wrote, the other was written FOR me, and in both cases the author was absolutely thrilled and thought the remix did something they had wished they could do but were not able.

(I'm going to rec the one that was written for me, when I rec on Calufrax this August. It is that good.)

I like reading remixed fics. Question: why wouldn't you qualify for the challenges?

Remix_Redux, the biggest remix challenge, requires remixees to have written a minimum number of 500-words-or-more fics in a single fandom. I'm a drabbler and a fandom-hopper. And most other challenges borrow Redux's rules pretty much verbatim. *shrugs*
