Question: Do you have any rituals when you write? Do you write to music? Always write at the same time, or in a dedicated space?

I made ponies. With this. That was pretty much my entire day. Well. We'd been away for the weekend, and we were travelling home most of the day? So there wasn't much writing done. And then I just wanted to sit in front of the tele and eat chocolate and make ponies so that's what I did. Hoping to be more productive today. Hopefully. XD

I always write to music. That's pretty much the only ritual I have. I'm not really tied to particular times or places. I just go with my inspiration.

I wrote no fic, edited no fic, thought about no fic. ^^;;; Although I got some other stuff done I needed to do, so... I guess I'll let it slide!

I don't really have any writing rituals--I kind of wish I did! Mostly I have music on, at least.

Today I write 1700 on two projects. I hope I can keep the speed.

I don't exactly have writing rituals. I write when I need to, or when I'm inspired.

Didn't work on my challenge fic, though I need to...but I did some critiquing and some revising and solidified plans to get together with two of my four CPs on Thursday.

No rituals here...I write whenever the mood strikes me if I can and wherever it's relatively quiet.

I edited (which is what I will be doing this whole week. Apologies in advance for the repetitiveness.) Oh, and I also wrote a 300-drabble for a 24-hour challenge.

There isn't anything I do as far as a ritual. I just sit down and write. :)

I spent my allotted fic time doing lots of research on my "Not now! I don't need another fandom bugging me to write it!" plot idea that's been bugging me. Make that plot ideas, plural. Looks like I'm done for as far as this particular character goes; I'm going to have to give in and write him, he has too many good ideas for me! But he's not getting any more than research out of me until my Big Bang is finished! I mean it! :-D

I don't really have any rituals that I can think of. I do seem to write better when I have music playing (but not music with words; I can't concentrated if someone is singing. I usually listen to soundtracks or classical music while I write). I don't always write at the same time, though I seem to do better in the mornings, lately. My dedicated space is wherever my laptop is! :-D

No new words today, but did editing for one short story of mine and send it to my beta. I then revised one of the scenes from my TOO MANY FRAGMENTED SCENES story as I was struck with how to write it better. I still feel that scene needs revising as there were some things I want to mention but wasn't able to put it in the main narrative yet (and they're important things I need to mention, ack!). I'll be able to figure that out soon enough.

I don't have a ritual. Like everyone else, I write when inspiration comes and given the chance (i.e., TIME! D: ). Sometimes before I write, though,I would read a scene from a fanfiction or a published book to get me prepared to be even more inspired to write.
