Check-In – Day 25

Goodness. Been two weeks since the most recent check-in, so it looks like there is a little ground for us to cover. What have you been doing?

— Thinking. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.
— Writing.

— Relaxing, taking a break, etc.

Question: And how have the last two weeks gone for you in the writing department?

I've actually gotten two drafts done. One, I like the writing, but it goes nowhere so it's drawerfic. The other, I like what it might become but it needs a lot of polish.

Still, that is a lot for me. I am terrible at fiction. I've written a bunch of non-fiction this year, but that comes much easier for me.

Writing is not happening where I live, I'm not even thinking about it (well, maybe I am, a little). My workplace moved to a new location this past weekend, so moving is all I have been thinking about for awhile. This week is resettling after the move, but my schedule is more flexible as a result, so maybe I can get caught up with some writing in the next few days!

Some good writing days, some terrible ones. Working on a challenge fic, not sure if I've got a handle on it yet or not.

Plotting today. I woke up too tired and sore to do any real writing, like I had planned to. I content myself with expanding supporting characters' biographies.
