       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Monday Discussion - What are some of the distractions you find most troublesome when writing (or trying to start writing)? How do you defeat them and keep them from distracting you?

I am generally distracted by other work I have to do that comes to mind when I settle myself to write, as well as the temptation to do something "easier" when I am tired.

Writing frantically for a deadline! I get distracted by rl chores, little things will all of a sudden aggravate me. And I'm terrible about video games.
