       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Tuesday Discussion: What is the strangest (or most interesting) thing you have researched for a fic?

My week is getting out of hand quickly, so I haven't accomplished any writing. *is sad*

I needed accurate info for a plot point once, and remember researching how long it would take something to float on a river from Point A to Point B by throwing a stick in a stream and timing it. It was fun, as well as being useful for research.
