At the moment I'm venturing into the kitchen for a couple of hours on an evening to write but I do have to set an alarm or I'll end up staying in there all night.

I did a little work on project!ambition last night and made a start on part of the fic rec section which is turning out to be the hardest section of the entire shipper essay. Yep, I have no idea where to start or what I'm doing.

I just write wherever I happen to be. After reading several professional authors write about how it's not a good idea to construct limitations around how and where you can write ("Must be at my favorite coffee shop with a large cafe latte, a yellow legal pad, and three sharpened #2 pencils") because someday you may need to write under other conditions, I've made a deliberate effort to make my writing as condition-free as possible. I do, however, do almost all my writing in Evernote - I'm considering the idea of doing some writing on paper just to keep things different.

I did a bit of writing yesterday, so there's that.

I write best when I'm at my desk in my home office, mostly because I have the least distractions there. I sometimes can get some writing done with pen and paper during church (while still paying attention to the sermon!) -- this tends to be more outlining and notes, but some good first paragraphs have been writtn on the church bulletin!
