WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 24 -- Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or research

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Tuesday Discussion:  How do you back up your writing, in order to prevent loss of your work (such as we discussed on Monday)?

I worked on writing-related stuff, though it didn't actually produce a word count!

I back up my whole computer fairly often, so my writing folder also gets backed up. I also keep a copy of it on a flash drive and my current projects are saved in Dropbox. I do need to be more regular about making sure the new work is saved, however, since none of that backing up happens daily.

I have a desktop folder for fic and also back everything up on two removable usb and regularly back those up, usually once a day when I’ve finished whatever I’ve been working on.

I finished a Sea Patrol fic today and for my first in the fandom I’m pleased with how it turned out, it also crosses a prompt off of my summer mini challenge table. Just giving it a day or two to settle before I post it and so that Tamara can do a quick beta on it for me.
