December WIP challenge signups!

Anyone want to try the WIP challenge thing next month? I'm doing two end-of-year gift exchanges (windupandpitch &, yes, yuletide) & I think this will be really helpful for me. Anyone else?

I'll keep the signup form the same as last month, as well as the general guidelines (though as always, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!).

Signups will be open until the end of the day on Thursday, November 25 -- the end of the day in whatever time zone you're in, I don't need to be exact. Then I can match up buddy groups again to start on December 1.

If you'd like to join us, please comment with the below info. Some of the details might not be used to assign buddies (not everyone will find buddies with common fandoms), but this could be a useful place for people to come find out more about their buddies as they are assigned.

Level of challenge: I need to write at least 2 fics of 1,000 words each in December. One of them before the end of the month, even.
Fandom(s) involved: Ookiku Furikabutte & something yet to be determined (but not to be publicly announced!) for Yuletide.
What you're looking for in your buddy group: Cheerleading, prodding, timed buddy writing time. Maybe a beta?
What you could offer buddies yourself: Same, plus beta reading if desired.

Level of challenge: Try to write something fic-related every day. I did that for WriMo, and it seemed to help a lot, so I want to keep it up.
Fandom(s) involved: Goodness only knows. I have an X-Men/UNIT fusion, a Legend (TV) backstory piece, and a massive multi-fandom not-really-orig!fic as my main projects at the moment... which means I could quite easily wind up writing Gone-Away Lake fic or TNG crossovers. I'm a little fandom bouncy-ball. ;-)
What you're looking for in your buddy group: Cheerleading, poking, soundboard-ing, "eek does this make any sense?" crit/beta
What you could offer buddies yourself: The above plus reassurance ("no really, it's awesome") and SPAG beta
How buddies should contact you: Uh, I'm a newbie, so just figuring this out... DWth PMs will reach me as fast as anything, I guess.

Fandom(s) involved: Pokémon—although you really need very little familiarity with the franchise and no familiarity with the associated media to figure out what's going on.
What you're looking for in your buddy group: People to bitch to about how it's going, cheerleading, people to remind me to write, people to bounce ideas off of
What you could offer buddies yourself: Happy thoughts, cheerleading, beta-ing (I'm happy to proofread!), word-sprint buddying, terrible advice

Level of challenge: I have the first draft of a 20k-word fic that I finished during NaNoWriMo this year. I'd like to get it edited (including fairly substantial rewrite to two chapters) ready ot post in the new year.

What you're looking for in your buddy group: People to remind me to write, people to bitch about characters with. Possibly a crit, but that's not vital - I'm more interested in getting it to a level that I'm happy with before I inflict it on other people.
What you could offer buddies yourself: All of the above, and also cheerleading and ecnouragement.
