WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 6 -- Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  This is a common theme here in our discussions, but since I fell into the "playing a game instead of writing" trap yesterday, we're going to discuss it again.  ;-)  How are you with time management when it comes to writing?  Do you struggle with distractions like computer games or something else?  What's your favorite soothing distraction that you turn to when it just seems like too much work to concentrate on writing?

I did some editing yesterday, but got trapped in a computer game because I was too lazy to make myself try writing.

I have a couple of simple, mindless games I play when I'm tired and I also tend to surf the internet aimlessly. It would probably help me to write better if I used a computer that has no internet access and no games on it. I'm setting something like that up and hope to start using it this week!

I wrote Monday, but I hit a wall of tiredness yesterday and today, today being Wednesday. Still chipping at it.

Playing a game instead of writing is both a blessing and a curse, seeing as to how I write video game fanfic. Is it really distraction if you're using it for source material? Hmm.
