Still editing and keeping fingers and toes crossed that I can get this new chapter up tomorrow.

I have everything saved to my desktop and also backed up on USBs so that I don't lost anything. So far I've not had any problems with that.

I've been doing a bit of editing but otherwise have made no progress on my current chapter. I've had guests all week, and I'm still not done, but hopefully there will be a bit of time this weekend for more chapter writing.

I back up my entire computer regularly, plus I back up my fic to a USB and have my fic folders on more than one computer. My current projects are also backed up in Dropbox so I can work on them if I'm away from my own computer.

There is hope for the weekend. For now, back to planning.

I save after every paragraph. x_X I still have memories of having to save 'fics-in-progress to a floppy disk on old Windows '95 (and 3.1!) computers.
