WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 20 -- Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or research
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Tuesday Discussion:  I've got a holiday starting today, and I plan on doing a bunch of writing -- so I'm trying to decide how much physical reference and research material I need to take with me for the 5 days I am away (my fandom is book based, so I have lots of actual books I can use for canon research).  When you travel, do you carry extra things with you to help with your writing, or is it enough to have a computer and the internet (or a notebook and pencil)?

Planning and research happened, nothing else yesterday. Today there is hope for writing once I get settled after traveling.

I posted a new chapter to my WIP this morning. Glad to have updated it after getting stuck for so long, fingers crossed it won’t take as long to get the next two chapters out.

When I travel it’s the laptop and a notebook and pen. My canons are tv shows so I either have notes already or something started that I can work on. I’m away on Thursday for a few days and I’m not sure if I’ll get much done with mum coming up for a short break.
