Discussion: Do your characters ever have moments of being forgetful?

I've had characters forgetting something from time to time, usually where they left something or what day of the week it is.

I made some notes last night and hopefully those can be turned into a fic.

Realistically, they should, shouldn't they? I often wonder how characters in stories I'm reading will pull back up and put together some of the things they do when I forget what I'm looking for by the time I open the fridge. Which is why I'm not a detective.

I'm not sure I've ever had a character forget something, but it's a good idea!

I know I've had characters forget things before, but I forget what they were.

Still making decent progress on the current WIP, even now that I'm up to the 'action' (in this case, sex). We'll see if that holds true once the one character has had their fun and it's time for a fair exchange.
