Hello on Saturday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

No writing happened yesterday, not sure about today as yet. I probably have too many things on my to do list that must get done to leave time for a writing marathon, but we'll see how it goes! I should plan on at least doing some research or planning today, if nothing else.

So far today, I haven't done any writing--airports aren't terribly conducive to creativity--but I got a good hour of writing in yesterday and I'm hoping to do more today once the coffee kicks in!

Yesterday's writing was actually entirely working on a chapter that wasn't in the original outline; I realized that I needed a little more focus on a couple of characters, so I'm putting in this little scene that's just a conversation between the two. I'm hoping it will help with one character becoming a little bit OOC in an unlikable way. I've gone heavily AU with this universe anyway, so playing up certain traits and downplaying others is reasonable to an extent, but I realized he really needs some scenes that flesh him out a little bit for him to be sympathetic.

Spent yesterday doing actual work while the whole time thinking of ideas for a sequel to one of my more popular stories. Even if it's nowhere near as popular as the original, I'll be very happy if I manage to complete it. And apart from that, it's been gratifying of late to not only be having so many new ideas, but having fresh inspiration to continue all these long-dormant bunnies.

I made some minor progress on an exchange fic. Still have at least 500 words to go to meet the word count requirement and probably at least double that for it to be really complete. It’s missing a real beginning, but that’s something for the beta to help me with.

Surprisingly I've been editing and writing a little this evening. Anything I get done this weekend is a bonus so that's fun.
