WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 23 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

Sunday Discussion:  How are you progressing towards completing your writing goals for the month?  What will be your writing emphasis this week?

No progress was made this week, so I need to buckle down and make progress happen this week. My emphasis will be on getting back into my WIP and finishing the chapter I started.

I worked on a short tie-in one-shot for my big WIP project on the plane yesterday! It was a piece I've had in mind for a while, so it was nice to start on that.

This week's writing emphasis will probably just be "write SOMETHING if possible"--traveling and holiday plans make that a little complicated, but I'm hoping to at least get a few things done.

Didn't work on the long-dormant WIP I originally planned to, nor the almost as long-dormant one I figured would be my next choice, but made great progress on a very recent idea that's a sequel to one of my more popular stories. I'd previously suddenly outlined a good deal of the start, middle and end all in one rush, and today not only added more flesh to those bones but filled out the skeleton in between as well. It'll be much more evil than the original, but still have a very happy ending. (Except for that one character, I suppose. *innocent look*)

And out of nowhere after posting that comment, I go and do a ton of work on the almost as long-dormant one. Go me.

Combing through prompts today. Thanks to the Tumblr-ation of Dreamwidth, several kink memes that had previously been dormant are starting to show signs of new life. Worth investigating, IMO.

Not a good week for writing (because the holidays have been beating me up), but I have one week left in 2018 to wrap things up.

I did some writing and editing, and then I did some work on the fandom_stocking page as the owner finally got back to me and gave me their login info. I hope to finish posting the exchange stockings tomorrow and then maybe wrap up some more of the drabbles I've been working on for that.
