WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 18 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

So far today I have spent about an hour in planning and research, which was very helpful because I am beginning to see what I want to do next. I'm not quite ready to start writing a new chapter yet as I have to make some decisions on the movements of some of the characters, but I'm getting closer.

For the weekend, I'll be keeping to my writing schedule, hopefully getting some actual words down for the new chapter before the weekend is over.

No writing yet today, but I made some headway wrapping up this round of fandom_stocking. Reveals are tomorrow so after that I should be good to get writing again. AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO WRITE THAT PORN FOR ANOTHER FANDOM, so that's a bonus!

I did think more about my chocolateboxcomm fic last night, and I think I've decided what I'd like to do with my million outlines and notes, so I will get that moving maybe this weekend. Almost there. *sweats*

My new beta replied and we hashed out things for my chocolateboxcomm story. I wrote like 100 words of that. xD So accomplished, but it's good to have a solid plan in place and even somewhat of a start. It's been a hectic week with my return to work plus mod duties at the exchange, so my writing has taken a backseat. I look forward to getting things rolling after this weekend. :D

I did a ton of writing yesterday--knocked out my Fandomweekly piece that I'd been having issues with, plus some edits to a chapter that I think I'm FINALLY getting somewhere on. (Now I just have to get the rest of that chapter done and resist the urge to go back and edit some more...or edit the already-posted fic...)

I haven't done more than a paragraph or two today, but I have a long weekend coming up with a winter storm advisory starting tomorrow; I'm hoping to spend pretty much the whole thing with blankets, hot coffee, and writing.

Spent most of the morning on important romancing IRL. Yesterday was full of progress again, which I'm hoping to sustain now and more again later this evening. Will absolutely be trying to meet or exceed current output.

Too tired to write anything today. The week caught up to me, I think. ... I should still have time to fill a Fandom Stocking or two in the morning, though. For now, need to rest.

I wrote some more, finished my chocolate box assignment, and posted it to the exchange. Considering treats possibly for that exchange as I poke at other things in my to do list.
