Today I did more edits for someone. I also heard back from the beta for my chocolateboxcomm piece, so I will hopefully get her notes back tonight or tomorrow (small fandom none of my friends know so I tried asking the internet for someone). I drafted a tiny bit more for one of my WIPs and may get a bit more done later. If not that's okay.

I finished the edits for that person, and did some more drafting of my own. I'd like to get this chapter off to beta by next weekend if I can.

Today's been other stuffing while I decide which WIP to do next. Which will be my plans for the week, and maybe the month.

I made some progress on my chocobox assignment this afternoon! Working on character motivations, which can be a struggle for me.

(I need to get into the habit of replying to the posts that I host, too.)

I am going to try to get writing to happen today, but I had to help a family member do taxes, and that wiped most of my will to do anything. -_-

But I have four days to reach my goal of 10,000 words for the month, and at least one deadline happening, so ... there is a will, there is a way!

Thinking about what to write currently for exchanges and a few bingos, was other stuffing earlier with a successful trip to Target for new jeans earlier.

Writing plans for the week are finishing up exchanges and working on various other fannish writing claims.

I'm on the back third of my WIP and did quite a bit of research this weekend. Fleshed out the plot with details, wrote out the first draft of a couple of scenes and talked out character motivation with a friend. Hopefully, I'll get some words down the next few nights and stay on track for my goal of 13,000 words for the month. Plan on getting the first draft of the next chapter done by Saturday.

I am currently taking a break, but I might open my writing folder and take a look at it yet today.

My goal for the week is to finish researching, make some decisions on plot points, and start writing my next chapter.

For this next week I'll probably be writing mostly worksheets for my students, rather than fic - but I'm hoping to tinker at least a tiny bit with one of my WIPs, if one of the people who's offered to be an alpha reader is able to follow through in the next few days. *crosses fingers that life will conspire in the right direction*
