WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 15 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice

   - I did some planning and/or research

   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

My day is just starting, but I will likely have some time later on to at least think about my fic. Yesterday I did a ton of planning, and also added some research to the mix later on in the day.

I'm traveling this weekend and visiting family, but I should have some time to get some writing in.

I had a slow last few days, but yesterday finally finished and posted the Daria bodyswap screenplay.

Got stuff to do most of the day Sunday, but otherwise will be writing, hopefully more than recently.

I've got no writing done, instead I've been working and being creative with making jewellery and a handbag. Sometimes when I work though, I do let my mind wander to solve a particular thing I'm stuck on in fic. Not so yesterday, or yet today either. But I hope I'll me able to poke at fic tonight. I have a sex scene I need to finish. But if I'm still stuck, then I'll just go do something else. No use in forcing it.

My day's just starting, so for yesterday…

Yesterday was surprisingly productive, compared to lately! I wrote up a bunch of notes on one WIP that an alpha reader is helping me with, and I ended up researching the shift schedule for the organization that my characters' work in another fandom is based on, and somehow that got me figuring out what to write next (mostly because it became really really obvious that they either didn't base the work schedule in the show on that, or there were *weeks* in between two consecutive episodes, given the scenes they showed and where they'd have to fit into their schedules based on the time of day). I only got ~100 words added to it, but that's better than the 0 that had been happening for weeks before!

I'm actually planning on spending my weekend singing - there's a Sacred Harp convention happening and I love that music so I go to all the local all-day singings. I'll be there both Saturday and Sunday, getting home late afternoon both days. But if I have some spare time, I'll write some more.

I'm going to try and get some writing done later tonight after work. I've not been very successful so far this week (only wrote two times).

Got another 300 words in so better than 0. Hoping I can get that scene finished tonight.
