Date: Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 02:46 (UTC)I've never cracked myself up laughing, mostly because what I write isn't usually funny. I did accidentally write myself into shipping something, though (wrote a fic just to see what I thought about the dynamic and then things happened).

Date: Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 04:13 (UTC)I used to write conversations with my characters as something to do when I was at a loss where to go with my WIPs -- I would complain about writer's block and my characters would make fun of me, and it was basically just fun. I'm pretty sure I cracked up fairly often as I was writing them. Not sure it helped me figure out where to go in my WIPs, but it was a nice break!

Date: Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 05:03 (UTC)I have cracked myself up many, many times. Which is a very good thing, in more ways than one. Lately, real smiles are like water to one dying of thirst in the desert, and every time I can make myself smile or laugh with a turn of phrase, I hope at least one other person out there will feel the same when they come across it.
