I ... seem to have misplaced yesterday. *coughs* That is all right, as yesterday did not end up being a good day. That being said, what have you been doing?

Question: How do you find a voice that works for you when you are writing a specific character?

Date: Friday, March 29th, 2019 20:12 (UTC)I'm actually currently struggling with finding a character voice for someone -- as a primary mode script writer, I tend to just talk to myself in that character's voice, try to catch the beats of the performance and then find words for them. It's not finding the voice that is usually the hard part because I've got an aural memory, it's the... other bit. The part where you need to put it into words.
So, I really have no idea ;__;) I'm dying here, stuck writing the same story for literally months now because he doesn't sound like himself.
