WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 31 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I did some planning and/or research

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's the last day of March, how did you do at completing your writing goals for this past month?  What will be your writing emphasis this week as we start a new writing month?

I've been having trouble getting any actual words written due to Real Life, but today is the last day I can get some things written and posted to have them be "on time" for the March challenge I'm participating in. The challenge will actually remain open, so it's not the end of the world if I don't manage it, but I would like to get at least one more thing written before the month ends!

In the new month, I plan to keep working on any fics I didn't finish in March, plus get back to working on my WIP chapter.

Hello. Working on the WIP today. Final draft of this next chapter. Hopeful to post tonight, maybe tomorrow.

I've slowed down on finished chapters this month. Lots of sentences written over the month but nothing worthy of posting or sharing. Disappointed in my own insecurities and focus.

I want to challenge myself this month to write a few very short stories that are complete. I get stuck in the middle of things and can't finish, I'd like to get a couple done start to finish without regard to length. I need a sense of accomplishment.

I rewatched some of the source material, which I suppose counts as research, right? haha

I'm going to be chill next month. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself for something I do as a hobby. That being said, I plan to at least open up the document every time I go on the computer. I think that will encourage me to stay on track.

This was a terribly unproductive week for me... but I'm hoping to get back on my game for this next month!

I'll be joining Camp NaNo, and hoping that will help me get my butt in gear on my current fic. My goal is a pretty modest 20k, but 5k a week is still way better than my last month has been!

Same - mostly. I mean, I got an exchange assignment done. But little else of what I had planned - and definitely none of the Rookie Blue fic I wanted to work on. *sigh* This week will be different, I swear.
