Putting the post for today up early to accommodate a little weirdness in my schedule, and I will try to do the same tomorrow. What have you been doing?
— Thinking. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.
— Writing.
— Planning and / or researching.
— Editing.
— Sending things to the beta.
— Posting!
— Relaxing, taking a break, etc.
— Other stuff-ing. Look at the comment.
Question: I think I've asked this one in the past, but do you have a preferred file format for when you do your writing on a computer (e.g. TXT, RTF, DOC, etc.)? (I've recently gone back to TXT and HTML after years in RTF.)

Date: Saturday, April 27th, 2019 00:38 (UTC)I use Jarte as a program because I like working with a lot of tabs open, so my format is RTF. If I'm not using Jarte for some reason, then I write in DOCX.

Date: Saturday, April 27th, 2019 01:38 (UTC)I always write in txt files - and edit in the HTML by hand automatically - which I then have to edit back out and actually format when I share in gdocs, lol. But the txt file is ready to post on AO3 except for the horizontal rule - I always use asterisks in my txt files and then swap those out for the hr HTML tag when posting. I can't stand to write in anything resembling a Word doc because it reminds me of terrible times I had in college writing essays. I *hated* writing college papers. I've actually avoided any further academics because I can't bear the thought of writing any more of those. Fic is entirely different - so it needed an entirely different place to write - and that has worked to keep my mind flowing with writing potential. (I get stuck all the time - but that's for other reasons.)
