WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 10 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

No writing as yet today, as I'm getting ready to travel to visit family. I have a couple things going on for the weekend while I'm away, so I probably won't have time to do a writing marathon, but I should have time to get at least some writing in!

I wrote another scene on the 1x08 AU last night! 528 new words (and some edits on the previous one, which added a few words). I didn't get so much of the worksheets done, but there's always this weekend... which I suspect I'll use more for worksheets than writing, as necessity requires. Hoping to finish the 1x08 AU this afternoon, but then I'll still need to think of something else for the ep-related set, since I was posting *shorter* fics as chapters for that - and the 1x08 AU is now nearly 3k! (Which is not long, but it's not really short either.)

I wrote about 710 words on my current WIP. It's not much, but considering I haven't written in ages, it's still progress and I'm satisfied with it. I still have to do some more research and catch up with the canon (why did I even start writing canon divergence in the first place?) but I'm getting there.

My weekend appears to be quite busy as I still have a lot of homework left to do and generally, Saturday is my cleaning day. I will, however, try to squeeze some more writing in and see what I can manage.
