Happy Sunday, everybody! How has your fic writing gone so far today? Or if you haven't made it to a writing point yet today, how did yesterday go?

-I wrote something
-I edited
-I posted today!
-I did some plotting/planning/research
-I sent things to my beta
-I took a break
-I dealt with life stuff

Discussion: Do you plan out what you'll be writing each week in advance, or go with whatever comes up?

I haven't started my writing yet, but I have a list of things I'm hoping to accomplish tonight--it might be a "dealt with life" kind of day, though.

As for planning, I do plan out my weeks in advance, but the plan has an unfortunate tendency to fly out the window as soon as some new shiny idea comes up.

I wrote today, what a relief to actually produce something after a long dry spell! It's not ready for posting yet, as I want to add to it. I may get more writing in tonight yet, we'll see how it goes.

I usually plan my writing week in advance, but if something creative comes up that goes against the plan, I run with it. Unfortunately, it's usually Life things that come up, which means the plan gets thrown out altogether!

I finished writing something, which is new and exciting because I haven't done this in literal years, but am hit by such aggressive nerves about sharing it that I can't rightfully say "I posted" yet. It's always very daunting sharing yourself with folk!

I definitely don't tend to have set-in-stone plans for what I'm writing by week! I'm very much a seat of my pants kind of writer.

Obviously I got nothing done writing-wise - I didn't even get to this till Monday. Life...

Generally I write whatever fic I'm working on (which has been a very long WIP) but I'll write other short things that come up as inspired.
